im just wondering if any of your states have a fund like this, and how enforceable it is. i was planning on going out for the first time this weekend, but from what i get from this is that i wont be able to launch my boat unless i purchase a decal. which i have no problem doing, but you can only do it online, or through the mail. and it will take at least 5 days to receive the decal. do you think that shore patrol would have them on hand? or be lenient the first time out if i tell them im waiting for it in the mail? it doesnt help that i got this notice in the mail today.

it just seems kinda odd. i didnt hear anything about it last year, or throughout the winter. it just showed up in the mail today.  |
