| I do, but not as often as I like. Mitchell is a great place to ride if you can find a good spot. I usually ride down by the dam. Where do you ride? |

I'm on the other side of the state. I'm in NW Alabama. I usually ride Smith Lake and Bear Creek Lake. Smith is the best in the state, lots of glass and usually plenty of places to ride without many people bothering you. _________________ Sportbike Track Time Southern Division Instructor |

I'd rather be a redneck than a hillbilly like the ones from Tennessee!! _________________ Sportbike Track Time Southern Division Instructor |

Skywalker022, drop me a pm with your mobile # and I'll give you the tour of Smith. Once you ride here you won't want to go anywhere else. I'll even throw in some gas money if you are supplying the boat. We also have the perfect little lake up here for wakeboarding although it's getting crowded because it's not that big. _________________ Sportbike Track Time Southern Division Instructor |

I have several friends with places on Smith, we ride up there a good bit. Get at me some time, always down to ride with someone new. If we aren't there we're on the Tennessee River or one of the Bear Creek lakes. _________________ "You gotta try for tomorrow."-The Mad Caddies |

Crookcatchr, I normally ride in my slew. The wind is NOWHERE near as bad in the slew as the big water and my slew is beyond big enough to ride through but I have riding just about everywhere. I really like it hatchet creek where NObody lives except for that monster house because its typcially flat and good conditions up there. _________________ Mitchell Militia

ega6, I see you're from Russellville. How old are you? I'm guessing you're in college at State since it says Starkville. I have some good friends from Russellville. One of them is now a dentist here in Haleyville. _________________ Sportbike Track Time Southern Division Instructor |

ChadH- Yeah we ride the barge canal a good bit, especially on weekdays. We also go up to high side and to some of the lakes on the river. Last summer I was in Orlando the whole time, so I didn't really ride there much besides early May and late August. But my buds stick it out there a lot.
Zach2orJack-Yeah man, I'm 21 I'm a junior at MSU this year. We ride Upper Bear sometimes, which I'm just assuming is probably a spot that ya'll hit up a good bit. _________________ "You gotta try for tomorrow."-The Mad Caddies |

ega6, Yeah it's great for wakeboarding. I can't wait to get back out there this year. I have a month to go because I'm having surgery monday. I wish I would have done this when the weather was cold. At least by the time I get on the water I won't need my wet suit. _________________ Sportbike Track Time Southern Division Instructor |

Chad H- Yeah, Kyle, Patrick, and that whole crew are who I normally ride with when I'm home. I rode with them Saturday over there. Water is really warming up over there.
Zach2orJack- That sucks man, yeah Upper bear is really nice on weekdays, that narrowness is awesome to avoid the wind....but on weekends it gets so packed out it seems almost impossible to avoid rollers and dudes fishing it up. But we still end up out there on the WE every now and again.
wakeboared- I have a buddy who has a place on Lake Guntersville, so I'll be up there on and off through the summer months....may have to hit ya'll up _________________ "You gotta try for tomorrow."-The Mad Caddies |

I'm in Birmingham. I usually ride on the Warrior River. It's not as nice as some of the lakes, but usually not very much traffic.
I have always heard how great Smith Lake was. The times I've been up there, I guess I went to the wrong spots because I couldn't find much good water.
With just me and the one other guy I ride with there hasn't been very much progression. It would be great to meet up with some other guys if anybody has room for one more. |
