| i would say go with the xstar. i've been told the x10's wake is hard to keep from washing out. the xstar with 2k of ballast is imo the best mc wake there is. |

hawk I've owned both boats.
The X-10 can have a great wake and will have a better surf wake for sure over the X-star.
The X-star wake for boarding is going to be harder and more vertical which is going to give you more pop.
You can compare the two like this. The Xstar is going to be like an three stage wakeboard which gives you tons of pop. THe X-10 wake will be more like a countinous (sp) rocker which doesn't give you the straight up pop.
Both will be great boats. The x-10 will offer more rooms but won't drive and handle as well. However the X-10 will handle the rough water conditions better.
I traded my X-10 in for the X-star 205 hull because we wanted the "hardcore" wakeboard wake and didn't need the other stuff as much. The x-10 does everything well but doesn't do one thing GREAT. if that makes sense. IT's a very good overall boat. _________________ Don't do anything rash.....and don't do anything to get a rash... |

| IMO, XStar all the way. I had a friend who owned an X10, and we only rode behind it once, and that was because I was out of gas.... |

Thanks Guys.
Also theres a 99 205 VRS for sale in Austin.
$18,500 in really good shape. It has the Bench, which I noticed the 99 X-stars do not. Nice tower on it too.

That 99 looks clean. I'd be all over the PS205V hull. No thanks on the x-10. As said above, surf wake is better on the 10, but the 205 wins the boarding wake big time. _________________

Did you notice one of the pictures in that X10 ebay thread is of an X2?
Might be looking at a scam there.... |

Check out the two 2000 and one 2002 Xstars that a local dealer in Cleveland, TN has in stock. If you call them, tell them that you were referred by the guy from Chattwake.com. They should take care of you. |

Very Nice.
I will bookmark that site. All three look like good buys. If i had a choice I'd of course go with the 02. A little more $ though. |
