hoping there is somebody out there who can say something to help me do the t/s frontroll. i am coming up short everytime and losing patience! i have tried throwing my head to the back foot, to the front, grabbing the board, looking over my shoulder like a scarecrow, holding on longer with 2 hands, pulling the rope in nearer, but i still don't seem to have quite enough rotation. i can do them on the tramp all day, i only need a tiny bit more? any ideas/donations wud be very gratefully rec'd!
cheers.

You need to wait a bit more before you start the rotation, I know the wake trips you into the trick but you need to leave the wake and almost dive forward a bit before you tuck your head for the rotation.

For a reference I can do tootsie rolls all day long on the tramp, can I land any on the water yet, NO! The tramp is just a simulation you need to work out the kinks on the water

Slu when i do them the handle is on my lead hip and i'm kinda in the locked ts cut position, very progressive edge at the top of the wake i just kick my feet off the wake, the key is getting the pop from the wake waiting til the very end and depending on the wake shape you divestraight over front foot (which for me is perpendicur to the wake). if its a steep wake you won't need to dive as much. seriously thought the handle should already be at your hip the whole time and let go if you want but you don't have to.

Charge it 10 times harder than you think you need to. I had the same problems for years then one time got pissed and stepped up my cut until I thought I was going way overboard and finally got around. You may overrotate a bit but then will learn to back off to the right level. This isn't probably the technical advise some might give you... but trust me... hit it hard enough and you'll get around. You certainly do want to ride it to the top but by concentraiting on just going super hard you will treat this more like a trip trick and your contact with the wake will get you around. That's my 2 cents.

He's right that method will definately get you to land your first one. Later on, when you get your timing right you can take it wake to wake and grab it or whatever. I don't really do any tricks W2W but you can do front rolls with a very mild edge.

yeah, from what I hear, (I can't do one) you really try and overrotate it, because you need to land edging hard on your toes and it's a hard rotation to get, so yeah try to overrotate it and stay tucked longer than you think you need to and you ought to stick it!

Take it straight up off the top just like on the trampoline. Keep both hands on and when you feel yourself coming down begin to open up & let go w/ back hand to slow the rotation, land on toes. Then add an Indy Grab.

wake_playa, 75% of yoru weight on your back foot and 25% on your front foot, when you come off the wake suck your front knee into your chest and kind of do a cartwheel...

I want to try a frontroll, but I have a bass boat, and I dont know if I can get enough air to complete the roll without killing myself...any suggestions?

I tried a TS Front for the first time on my boat last year (basically a bass boat profile) and I threw my head down towards my knee, except I didn't land on my back like skrizz but on the board. The impact smashed my knee into my chin and my whole mouth got F-ed up royally... Luckily didn't have to get a root canal on my front teeth, but had lots (~20) of stitches in my lip and gums and it was a really crappy recovery. It happened at Thanksgiving so I couldn't eat any turkey or pumpkin pie... I'd say go for it if you feel you're ready, but make sure you don't throw your head straight down (bending at the waist).
