i can get a very good deal on two brand new boats, and do not know which to pick. the two i have to choose from are Tige's new 22v or MB sports B52v. I am a little reluctant about the 22v because i currently have a 2001 tige 2100v, but am unimpressed with the wake that it makes. has anyone ridden behind the B52 or the 22v? If so, any advice would be very helpful. you can email me or post on the forum.
thanks

I have a B 52 DD right now and ordered a new B 52 VX2. I have ridden behind both and the v drive has a killer wake good and solid and big. I think you would like the MB have you demo it. |

I think the craftmanship is better on the tige. You can also adjust the wake with the TAPS and that is a great thing to do when you add some sacs in it. If you are just looking for a big wake you should just add some sacs or get the ballast option that tige now offers for 03. I think the TAPS and the 10K+ life warranty are the best things about the Tige. I was not too impressed with the B-52. I think it looks great, I like the idea of a 2 speed, but overall I was not impressed. _________________ "What do you mean you're done for the night...Insomnia doesn't even open until 4. After looking at all the boats out there I think the fit and finish on th MB is the best. with 2100 lbs of ballast you don't need to add any sacks to weight the boat. no other boat has that much ballast stock. Your best bet is to demo both and pick the one you like. |

Demo them before you buy ,thats the best thing..Then if its even go with your instincs......Tige is renown for bad wakes in the past but i hear they are improving and Mb sports is not a proven comidity yet but i hear its a pretty well built boat and that stock ballast is impressive.BTW save a little money on the MB and DONT get The flames ! That will kill resale value trust me _________________ "Thanks for Play'n"
