Has anyone ever tried to land a"Cannonball Question

"(nose and tail grab at the same time) I was thinking about how to do it, but I'm not exactly sure what to do w/ the handle.

it would have to be done "sucide". So you would have to let go of the handle, grab the tail and the nose and then snatch the handle again.

I dont think anyone's done it. To do it you'd have to do it suicide like adam said. Or to be even more crazy, you could do an osmosis canonball 540.

you could always put the handle in your mouth, but that takes practice!

I was thinking I would put my hand through the handle on the nose grab. If that doesn't work, I might try it suicide like Adam said. I'll probally try it w/o the handle, to get used to the grabbing, but the handle is probally going to be the most technical part.

Putting your hand through the handle is something you would want to avoid, not attempt to do.

you wouldnt need to release the handle to grab, in twintip skiing they dont let go of the posle to grab, you just couldnt get full palm on the grab

it is pretty hard when you are ridding to pull the handle down for a grab. Doing so changes your whole center of gravity, and the tension on the rope would be hard to overcome. It could work, but would be super hard.

just bring the handle to the tip of the board and grab the handle+the nose or like wut seanmcd said use your mouth Very Happy

I think there are a lot of cooler looking tricks out there you could learn instead... maybe some wakeskate tricks Very Happy

Shapiro used to do a rocket air type deal, he would bone the board up for a nose grab but would bring the handle hand around and grab it w/ both hands. That would look better than a cannonball or whatever, I couldn't imagine getting any style points if you are all bundled up like a cannonball off a diving board.

no, Jim, a cannon ball is when you grab the nose and tail at the same time.

know what would take some skill to do: get in a cannonball postion(as you would in to a pool not the trick) do a 360 and land it with the rope

I believe Evelyn Zerr was doing this at one time or another. She would do a suicide then grab the tip and tail at the same time, and get the handle back. A few years ago a friend of mine was trying it, but he never was able to grab the handle back.

You could always just wrap the handle around your neck. Safety first, right?

i with TD u could put the handle around your neck......or you could just wrap the rope around your arm a bunch of times, just loop it around your forearm like 6 or 7 times, I guarntee getting the handle back won't be a problem Very Happy

seriously never put the handle around your arm that stuff will tear your joint clean outta the socket Embarassed
