Time to upgrade on a buget

Looking to get a better boat for boarding/family time on the river.
As a boat in general I think I've narrowed the search down to a Bluewater Mirage. Mid 90's boat fit's the budget ($10Kish), but does anyone know how it is as a wakeboarding boat?

Hogger, What does the boat need to do? $10k will get you a sport nautique these days, or a Supra Sunsport - Ideal wakeboard boats with room for a few friends/family.

Mainly like I said, get the family out on the river, and wakeboard.
I looked at a '93 Ski Brendella today but the hull at the stern was very flat, and thought this wouldn't be the best for a wakeboarding wake.

That's why I'm asking specifically about the Mirage, it's more of a true V-hull, but it's an I/O, so I don't know if there is a trade off there or not. Plus there are a couple local here. And I want an open bow.

What about the article did you find to be "too general"? The boats included are there for a very important reason: they're great for wakeboarding. If you're looking at an older boat that isn't on the list, chances are it isn't very good.

One other thing. If wakeboarding really is your primary concern, you'll be happier with an inboard than an i/o.

Ya, I went back and re-read it. I guess it's just that it didn't specifically mention the boat I was looking at. I guess I should have worded the post differently.
And start searching for something on the chart.
