Hey I was wondering if anyone had tried removing the foam off a wakeskate and replacing it with some grip tape???

tear up the foam. Maybe use a heat gun or some solvent(be careful using a solvent, make sure it won't damage the wakeskate) to melt the glue. make sure the top surface is clean before applying grip.

I am redoing my liquid force faction and putting grip tape on. I sanded down all the paint on the botttom of the board and took all the foam off the top. I am doing it right now so i have to get the rest of the glue off the top sand it down and put the tap on!

I used a hair dryer to heat up the foam on my LF Control deck and then slowly peeled it off. Then I cleaned it up a little and gripped it...

Catch This Wake, What Skate do you have. If its a certain type of skate I think it would defeat the purpose of having a foam deck if you did that.
