It looks like things ar going slowly around on Wakeboarder. Anyways, hopefully there are enough people out there who can help with providing input for a slider/fun box. The box will be used at the annual Beach Party and Wake Tournament. We would like to do a Rail Jam the night before with wake skates. The foundation will be a stripped down 24' pontoon.

I was told that this is the best foundation for a fun box. I searched the internet for salvaged pontoons, and found this for $300. Now I need input. What do you think? Thanks in advance.

Because we only had time to assemble the extended end sections, and did not get a chace to put on the end panels. The 4th of July weekend it will be totally together. I am putting 55 gallon plastic barrels under the extensions for a more solid buoyancy. I will post more pics after the week end.

now lets see someone hiting that thing!! oh, and yes, nice rail. would be cool if you could put plugs in the pontoons to let a little water in. it should add to the stability. but if shes good like she is, then its all good. INJOY...........

looks VERY stable - is this correct?

Where did you find the Pontoon boat for that cheap from?

That is really impressive! So did you need any kind of permit from the DNR or anywhere to keep it on the water? Did you have to pull it out at the end of the day or could you leave it in?

Arof the slider is extremely stable. As you can see in earlier pictures the base is the pontoon with the ends that are attached. Since the ends extend out so far, there is a support beam that runs up the middle of the slider. Each end requires 5 men to handle it. So in other words, you see it floating in the pics, and it easy very heavy. This provides a solid feel.

Wake Mikey, it was parked by the dock except when in use.

The slider was built for a rail jam that I put on every year. It is alot of work, and I have done it for 3 years. Everyone looks forward to it, but I am doing the work for next to nothing. So it is time to cut my losses and sell the slider.
