Hey all, I've been reading up a lot of different backroll tip tricks and the majority say to look over your front shoulder to initiate the rotation and spot your landing. This doesnt make much since to me. Would someone please explain it in more detail. I don't see how you can look over your lead shoulder (in the direction your travling) and initiate a rotation in the opposite direction.

Once you are inverted, looking over your lead shoulder (chin on shoulder) allows you to see your landing and follow it down. If you looked over your rear shoulder, you would most likely stargaze and stall your rotation as soon as it starts.

Always look towards where you are going, not where you came from.

See other response - your rotation is not in the opposite direction to looking over your left shoulder (if regular) unless you are thinking about a Mexican BR where you kinda throw your head downwards. Just to add to the confusion... Smile
