Hey
I'm in school in Erie this summer, and would love to go. I"ve been looking for a ride. I'd be about 2hrs away depending where you go. But i'd love to come, have my own gear, and am more than happy to pay gas, bring food, help clean up, whatever.
What kind of boat do u have?

I am moving to Pitt at the end of March and was hoping there would be a wakeboarding crowd. I have been riding in Richmond and at Smith Mountain Lake in VA. How is the riding on the rivers?
new to the forum but feel free to email me if you have any info or want to ride.

A bit of a drive, but Raystown lake is a great place to ride. Even on weekends you can usually find some nice water.
Near Pitt is the Triangle ski club (I think), not sure which river they're on.
(Only 4 months until NJ WAKEFEST!)

| Shenango Reservior is about 1-1/2 hours from Pittsburgh. I camp there a couple times during the summer. During the week, there is good water but the weekends are busy. My home lake is Sandy Lake but it is "outboard" only |

Hey everyone. Im semi new to this forum (lurking on and off for a few years). I did a quick search for "shenango" and this thread popped up. Im located one mile from shenango lake and plan to be out riding this summer again. We sold our 03 super air nautique 210 last winter and now my father and i got the itch get back on the lake. Ill keep you posted on what we end up with. But if any of you head out this way be sure to shoot me a pm or email.

I live in Cranberry twp north of the burgh,
We ski on the Mon river near Sandcastle. we are usually out in my boat a 1990 sport nautique.
SHenago has to many bridges with no wake under them.
We sometimes go up to east brady.
If you want to try a sky ski just ask. _________________ http://www.wakepics.com/member/Steelerguy

Hey guys. I'm on the mon by Elizabeth, PA. I'm docked at a place called Castaway Keys Marina (http://www.castawaykeysmarina.com/) It used to be Boaterz Extreme, but the owner sold it. Now we have to share our space with giant house boats! Anyway, we still have a whole row of us with wakeboard boats and our water is almost always a sheet of glass. Hit me up with a message whenever! |

Add me to the list. Have a boat, and shopping for a better one this week. Frustrating when I want to go for a run and need two more to make it legal! Any facebook users? Created 'Pittsburgh Wakeboarding Team' some time ago, but need to make it ACTIVE! Wet every day: mud, storms, or logs everywhere -- no excuses. Well, except for work.
I usually drop at 18th street under Birmingham bridge in southside. I live in McMurray, so will happily drive to other places. |

There is a Kenny Chesney concert at Heinz Field this Saturday. Im not much for country music, but there should be a good bit of girls with skimpy suits.
I will be floating outside during the concert with probably 300 other boats.
Before that sking the mon by sandcastle. Chance of rain, but what else is new?
Anyone else gonna head out?
Fathers day is looking beautiful. _________________ http://www.wakepics.com/member/Steelerguy

Scott, thanks for posting the link. I see that you got my email. Are you gonig to come out to Sandcaslte tomorrow?
If anyone has any questions about that sandcastle event, the full flyer can be found here: http://www.wakeboardpittsburgh.com/wakeboardingandwaterslides.pdf
We will be riding behind a Super Air Nautique 210 from 11am - 4pm. There is no cost to ride, you just need to find the guys with wakeboards down by the docks at sandcastle. It should be a lot of fun, we already have 9 people signed up to ride and more have told me that they are gonig to stop by.
You can also email me (Kyle) at admin@wakeboardpittsburgh.com if you have any other questions. |

If anyone is interested in helping out, we are going to be doing a wakeboard/waterski show at the Beaver County Regatta in Bridgewater, PA on Aug 16th and 17th. We will have two shows per day. We will do some wakeboarding, watersking and hopefully a pyramid. I need more riders. If you are in the area, and are interested, please email me at admin@wakeboardpittsburgh.com
Scott, would you be interested in the event? I got a awesome picture of you at the Sandcastle Event. I will email it to you when I get back to my home computer tonight.
The event is located on the Beaver River (usually a no wake zone) right in front of a huge park. You can see the location below.

I would be there in a heart beat, except I am on vacation that weekend. Sounds like a good time. especially if they let you ski that no wake zone.
Id love to rip that up. Should be a good time. _________________ http://www.wakepics.com/member/Steelerguy

Pulls available in Pittsburgh. Launch from 18th St in the southside at least 3x per week. Always looking for 3rds, and new people to hang out with.
Malibu set up for wakeboarding and surfing, and usually do some of each every day.
Also launch in New Eagle near the power plants -- much closer to home for me.
PM me! |
