Finally took some decent shots of my Maxum after all the mods are pretty much done.
-4.6l v6 190hp
-Merc Hi-5 Prop 19 pitch
-DBG Concepts Billet Swoop XL tower (www.dbgconcepts.com - I designed their website)
-3x double cans w/ arc audio 6.5"s
-Polk DB 1000watt amp for inside
-Arc Audio 800watt amp for tower
-Skylon sacks
PP on the way!
for an I/O it throws a great wake w/ that new prop and trimmed up a bit.
Also - if anyone is local - check out www.WakeBoardSD.net! _________________

Attached 3. This is with the trim slightly up once at plane. I just got skylon 600lb locker ballast, haven't tried it out yet...I'm excited to see what that does to the wake! _________________

I do web design and partnered up with a local wakeboard shop, so we help each other out. _________________

The tower and weight definitely helps. I have perfect pass on the way for it as well. That is the main prob wakeboarding w/ an I/O is keeping it at a steady speed. Too much adjustment is neceassary. PP will definitely help, but even then I want something bigger. _________________

my dad can pretty much keep throttle with anything, he is a great driver. idk how much weight my lil 17 footer can handle. i can drive & put my hand over the gunwale and touch the water _________________ Lanexa VA |

Ya that thing sits pretty low, but with a couple sacks and that tower I think you will be set! _________________

NKCrider,
I have an 84 Correct Craft 2001 with a pylon and a couple of fat sacks and it throws a great wake. |

not sure I have a 2001 which was made from 82 - 89. It looks very similar to yours though. I have friends that have much newer boats that like the wake behind mine better especially when it is weighted. |
