for some reason FF is turning my question marks into É
my keyboard is still in english us and all other programs are normal... any sudgestions.

It also seems to have deactivated your shift key and added unnecessary ellipses and Ds. I think it's time for a new keyboard.

did you maybe download the GB version of Firefox instead of US?

Don't think that would cause it, I use GB and all it does is swop the '£' with the '@' on the keyboard and provide British spelling...

Well i checked the about:config and it had no options, I uninstall/reinstalled and everything is working now.
