byerlys. they are nice, but i don't think they were really made for grip tape wakeskates. so once they are worn out, i am going to buy some kind of skateboard shoes.

i have an old flat cassette w/ foam, and whenever i ride it, the shoes feel great on it. and it just doesn't feel like it has quite as good of a grip on the grip tape. and plus they are byerly's shoes and his skate is foam. but i'm not saying they don't work good on grip tape, they work fine. but i guess i just think skate shoes would work better.

yea i guess, but u never know they dont seem as gripy on my foam skate though, but i guess its all how you feel

Has anybody used the white Byerly Reefs for wakeskating? I had heard that they start looking nasty after being in the water for a while but I don't have any first hand information....
