I just picked up a new hobby....being so close to the mountains, I figured I had to take advantage. I don't snowboard much....it just reminds me of a crappier version of wakeboarding....so I usually end up paying for a lift ticket to get drunk in the chalet.

Anyone else snowmobile? Where's your fav spots? I'm just starting to get out around the Calgary area. Got trips planned to Fernie and Kimberley area, hopefully a few to Golden/Revelstoke area as well. Just got back from Cattarack Creek this past weekend, was good times! Spent less than a lift ticket's cost in gas, and had way more fun.

Nice ride...I have to disagree with you about snowboarding being a crappier version of wakeboarding...

I with Tbonez, its not a crappier version of wakeboarding. you sould tow behind it and use it for jibs and stuff without having to go up to the slopes.

Maybe that is what I need. I do find it a little too mellow tho, not something I could do every weekend. If I don't have veins popping out of my forehead from the adrenaline rush, I'm not having fun Laughing

Funny I always thought of wakeboarding as a crappy version of snowboarding. If you can't get a better adrenaline rush on snow than behind a boat you are doing something wrong.
