Any Call of Duty 4 players here?

I don't consider myself a gamer, and in fact, I rarely ever play my ps2...maybe twice a year. Well, my friend has xbox 360 and got me hooked on COD 3...I'm such a dork I ran out and bought one, and also bought Call of Duty 4 the day it came out. Once again, I'm a dork. Well I can't stop playing the damn thing. Not to the point of playing 8 hours a day, past midnight, or anything like that...but I play a couple hours about every other day. I feel like a tool living in my Mom's basement...usually I only play a game for a week or so, then I get bored. Anyway...I'm at work and I'm thinking about a stupid video game.

I play it on the PC, the single player was Epic. Never seen a better real-setting shooter.

kmagnuss, I'm in the same spot. I never played my xbox 360 that much until my buddy said to try COD4 on xbox live. I signed up for a free trial and now my GF hate me.

I was NCAA Football 08, Assassin's Creed and COD4.

IMO Assassin's Creed looks like the best game on the market right now

Playing a FPS on a console is like doing heart surgery with backhoe....With that said I play multiplayer COD4 for a couple hours everyday

Yeah I am max level on multi player on COD 4 for PC. It is an awesome game. I like the diversity in weapons and all of the different multi player modes. Effin sweet game.

And yes console FPS games blow Wink

Yup I am also a gamer with COD4 multiplayer for PC. I also think its better for the PC. Ive beat it in SP, favourite mission is the TV station.

What are peoples top scores for Arcade Mode? On Mile High I got 89,000 but can't seem to get within 10,000 of that again easily... I guess it was a fluke!

Im getting a new computer this week, and was wondering how to transfer my COD4 profile files over to it so I don't lose my online stats. Do I need to transfer all the files, or just a profile file?

I'm sure the online stats are tracked online, your settings are prolly in a cfg or ini file under the game folder.

I have it for PS3. Beat it on Recruit and Regular in two days each. I just have to get a longer CAT6 cable. My tv is on one side of the room where my cable jack is, and the CAT5E jack is on the opposite side of the room where my computer is.

Anybody know if a CAT5E cable will do the trick, just run a little slower? I know that a CAT6 cable is just twisted tighter, but dont know if the online play will be as good. The console is at my bros right now, he had to experience the rush, so I cant try it.

I just bought a new Xbox with the new Falcon processor that runs cooler. And COD4. So I am sure to be in there soon. I beat it on Hardened, working on Veteran but it's handing me my ass.

so i need some help... i finally started playing this game right... never used an xbox 360 before. i found where i'm supposed to save my progress and everything, but when my roommate plays it just loads my game. is there any way to create profiles for each person so that i don't have to start over (or start from where he left off) every time?

please help me!!!

You have to hit the the X button on the middle of the controller, sign our your profile and then create one for your roomate.

haha, so i guess it's probably his profile that's been loaded all this time and i overwrote his progress with mine! hahahahahahahahaha

Once you hit that green xbox button it'll come up with the active profile. Then if you hit the actual x-button you can sign out. From there I believe you can create a new profile.

And yes, I'm such a dork I beat it on Veteran, and I have 980/1000. Can't beat that damn mile high club on veteran to save my life.

I just beat mile high club on veteran to get 1000/1000...it took me about twice as long as it should have because I shot the hostage at the end twice
