yea by looking at the video you should try to stand a little taller at the wake so you get tripped up into the flip and when the rotation is about half way done let go with your back hand to keep yourself from doing a scarecrow. if you keep your back hand on the handle the boat will naturally try to pull you around into so make sure your let go with it. When first learning this trick you might want to think about trying to over rotate the flip so you fall and land over your toes rather than slipping out.....make sure you cut in with some speed as well......falls arn't bad at all on this trick. hope this helps a little _________________ Rip it up |

it looks like you may need to take a bit of a longer cut, similar to the cut of a tantrum. _________________ i love lamp. Crikey |

| Pop first. Looks good to me otherwise. Your head looks good leading the rotation, handle position looks good. Good job committing with both hands and yeah letting go with your trailing hand will help keep you from landing heel heavy or coming around. Don't know about your landing, but with more pop you would have more time to bring it down. |

Similar to what Cwakeboarder19 said, you are rotating towards the boat a bit so maybe put your handle in your back pocket like you would with a toeside cut, on your landing and you should have it _________________ wicked |

another tip to help you get the rotation would be to go for the grab, whether you get it or not, It will deffinetly help you flip faster.. _________________ www.blackwaterrydas.com |

The real problem here is that you are letting off your edge too much, too early. The most important part of the trick is the line tension you need to have right before you get to the wake. I don't even notice myself letting off my edge on that trick. You really need the line tension to make the trick work. _________________ www.ten-80.com |

Like wakedude saiad above, you let up on your edge way too early. To get the trip of of, you only need to let up right at the wake, you let up before you were enough at the trough.
The other thing, mid rotation (once totally upside down) let go with your back hand. Otherwise you're going to get pulled around to a scarecrow or 90degrees to edge catch. Make sure you are in the air and flipping before letting go.
Then, you shouldn't have to throw your head down. If you changed edges right and at the right time (not early) you will be flipped without really throwing your head too much. Concentrate on pop and edge switching, the flip will come pretty naturally after that. _________________ This has been a DizzyG Message |
