Anyone on here gone? I've lived in the Pacific NW my whole life and never once made it up there in the summer. My friends and I were seriously considering going one weekend, but I looked and lift tickets are still spendy ($45). I know its summer condition and things aren't going to be that great, but I thought it would be fun. So to the people that have gone is it really worth it?

I hear that most people do this new thing called "wakeboarding" in the summer. Wink

Are you still planning on doing the lessons thing?

If you're a park rat then it might be worth it, they have some pretty fun features. Plus the super pipe is always open.

I was going to go to one of the camps, but I can't get a whole week off from work Crying or Very sad

If the weather continues to be this crappy I might go up there one morning. Wakeboarding in the cold and rain is no fun!

I went to Windells This spring break which was in april and the conditions were amazing. There were some good booters and they even threw up the infamous circus rail. So idk bout summer but late spring the conditions are still steezy. The day i got there summer season started so if they stay like that. hell i'd hit it up.

olllllld thread, i know. but i would like to say for anyone considering hitting up hood next summer... it's super fun. i went last year to windells...... and it was a ball.

obviously it's more for park riders. i don't think you'll find any pow up there in the summer, believe it or not.
