boards sucks at edging. There was WAY too much drag off the wake. Landing hurt my knees sooo bad. But hey...if parks can land a 1080, and he wrides wronix... then i figure i should too!

I saw the Ibex this past weekend, and thought it looked (shape-wise) almost exactly like Parks old boards. Just looked like a Ronix version of the Hyperlite Parks board. I didn't bother riding it, cause I don't like the way the old Parks rides. The rails where slightly different on the Ronix, but not much different. I'm assuming it's going to ride very similar to his old boards.

You have GOT to lose that avatar. The last thing I want to see is a stick figure w/ his Ontrider wiggling around all over the place.

smahmoud, I really like my 05 CWB Absolute Platinum... Between that, and my 03 Abs Plat, I dont thing I would ever really need another board.

I am sure you can find one floating around somewhere if you look. Maybe try fleabay.

A buddy of mine rode the Ibex last week and he really didn't like it. If you haven't heard it's made of metal so when he put it on and jumped in the water he sank and drowned. He probably hates that board the most.
I would say any board not made of metal would be better than this one. Try the Shane, waaaaay soft landings and insane pop.

It doesn't ride like the old parks board. It's an aggressive 3 stage board for sure, but it's not as gnarly as the old shapes.

The old parks board had those rediculous angled a wing fins that were edge catching machines. The hyperlite board freaking sucks ass.
