well weve got about 2-3 weeks before our 09 seasons starts, cant wait. so i decided to go out and buy us a trampoline for some last minute training. what a blast. weve had it for 3 days, and decided to break out the camera for a late night session. still trying stuff, nothing fancy yet. making up a foam board next.
seems like its gonna be a pretty good training tool. 14' for $149 from Academy.
FOAM BOARD, AND MORE PICS ADDED BELOW... _________________

haha well to answer both of your questions, shes a dance teacher.
orange feet is from dancing bare foot at school for 9 hours everyday.
and the see threw pants are because those dance pants have some SERIOUS miles on them. super thin now, holes in the knees etc. but its impossible for her to find new ones (jeans even) that fit her long and massive bond girl like legs lol. her upper thighs and insanely strong. _________________
well we got the board made, super dense 2" gymnastics foam, some old adios and a roll of packing tape
but it didnt last long, took the above two pics, and on the third i went for a method and it just riped the shoe right off, tape broke. so i just bought some heavy duty duct tape, and some water shoes to try for round 3.
foam works amazing, just flexible enough to move with the trampoline, but firm enough to hold its shape. _________________
that board is awesome!!! U guys have been an inspiration now for us gonna make a trip to academy!!!
huge pop, yet lands buttery soft, holds hard on edge threw the wake, but frees up for surface spins and quick transitions. light and snapy core, 3 stage rocker for going huge, even out into the flats. youll never ride anything else, Limited Lifetime Warranty, Built in the USA.
i kill myself. lol ahhahahahahah+ _________________
we have a telephone pole in the back corner of our yard, so i put the trampoline about 5' off the fence either side, and tied the rope to that about 12' off the ground. used a couple nails to keep it from slideing down.
we sure did, we went back to the adios and switched to duct tape, (we first tryed duct tape and watershoes, that didnt work) and last nights session they held up the whole time, more pics soon. its a blast now. _________________

not what I thought this post was gonna be
I was on the tramp for the first time this year. No rope or anything, but my son and wife were playing on it when I got home, so I joined them. They got off after a little while so I did some exercises.
THis year, I definitely plan to train on it, starting this weekend I think if the weather cooperates.
So without the board, I guess you just work on keeping your feet "in line" when practicing? Are you conscious of how your feet are at all? Or are you really just working out and practicing spotting landings etc...?
THanks for any help. _________________ One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them. One ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.

i was truely amazed at how benifical the tramp with rope and board really was, just blow away.
i found it very difficult to keep my feet in proper position without the board, even when concentrating on that very thing, i just couldnt, even on landings i found myself landing very narrow, audrey could land better, feet apart, but in the air our legs went everywhere.
even if you dont do a full board, a simple stick inbetween two shoes i would highly recomend.
well try to get some more pics up. weve been using the board alot and the duct tape is holding up extremely well. as is the foam. _________________

I understand, it makes sense to do SOMETHING with your feet. Im sure I could whittle something together similar to what you have been using. We have so much foam of varied thickness and rigidity here at work that Im bound to find something I can use.
Thanks! _________________ One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them. One ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.
