|
|
I picked up a new to me 1998 Sanger V210 and it is making its way from California today. The boat is in very good condition the only thing I could find wrong are the corner carpet/ seats are torn and the tower is in the wrong location But that is an easy fix IMO i got a really good deal on it.

believe it or not, there was an option with sanger for that tower mounted in that spot back then.
I see a handful of them every year on random days on the local lakes and the Delta.
You guys in other parts of the country arent so used to seeing it, but Sanger is huge here in California, so it's not quite the oddity to my eyes.

Hey, nice boat! I have friends with DXIIs, DLXs, and the V210. The one and only ever Sanger dealer in Wisconsin was in the town where I do most of my boating. Luckily, there are plenty around as I really like those boats. The tower in that location would bother me too, but I'm not sure sliding it foward is going to be that easy...

The tower shouldn't be hard to move. When we move a tower on our test boat we'll generally throw a rubber grip down over the holes, can't even tell a difference, looks factory. It probably got installed there because there was easy access.

I'm not talking about drilling new holes and covering up a couple others. Is the the deck the same width and shape up near the windshield? Doesn't look so to me.

I wasn't refering to moving that specific tower. But it would be easy to mount a new tower designed for a winshield location.

we looked at it the other day and the tower would be to narrow, with non hinged feet. The gunnel where it is mounted is nice and flat, where it needs to go is at an angle. At the current width the windshield is in the way.
He already has a plan though, lol.

1200 or so forward of the windscreen, 800 total in the rear lockers. Add 5-6 people and you are set. Wake is good 22 to 24mph, 70 to 80 ft line.

who are you to tell me what we need and dont need, i was merely trying to help out a new person to the forums on how to say something sarcasticaly in the correct way.
you forgot to comment on the "c"
"NKC" stands for New Kent County so we dont have any more horrible jokes.
back on topic:
looks like you got that thing pretty sacked out, wish my boat could handle even 300 extra lbs. of weight in her...
