Back from a stay in St. Louis. Co-worker I was there with just sent me some photos. Sorry about the quality, but I had to reduce the size at work....
View from my hotel room was not bad…..(first 2 pics)
Cards were in town every day we were there, went to two games. Had drinks in the room and watched batting practice before going out or to the game.
Brewery tour was much better than I anticipated.
That river is DIRTY.
The arch was IMPRESSIVE.
All in all, I really liked St. Louis.

Glad you had a good time. The picture of you in the water cracks me up. I agree the water is returdedly brown.
You chose a good hotel for the stadium, was that the Hilton?

| Yes, Hilton at the Ballpark. I was very happy with the choice and their ability to get me into a stadium facing room.

upstream got a foot of rain last week, maybe more in some places. We received 7" in a 24 hr. period.
still isn't the cleanest normally, but that is why it is so bad right now.

Totally opposite experience from my time in STL last year. That place (downtown) was a major DEAD zone. The only highlights were that the Rams game was cool (well the stadium/environment was cool), the Arch was cool, and even off-season Busch was cool.
We never did the brewery tour. We should have.
