oh my god people nag on me all the time about my spelling and other things i just wanted a topic where people could talk and spell however they want without getting naged on so if any one wants to comment any one on their words or anything prepare to get booted

Holy crap, at least use the right forum... I mean really you don’t wanna get yelled at, yet you post this topic that is COMPLETELY irrelevant to wakeboarding.... At least have the decency to put this in non wake....

And bad spelling and serious grammatical errors like not EVER using a period, it annoys me and other forum users. People just want to be able to read a coherent sentence with out having to go back and re read it 50 times!

Or when people “tyupe lukei thffis”... seriously, just have decent spelling so people can understand what the hell you are saying and you will be fine... and you can also proofread your post too...

You almost sound proud of your bad spelling, lack of punctuation, and generally incoherent grammar. That's just dumb. Don't you want people to be able to understand you? If not, why post at all?

Let's see here. I don't think anyone really cares. If you have such a problem with people nagging you about your spelling or your grammar, you can leave. Who really cares. The whole point people are trying to get across is that it is a ton easier to read posts that follow some kind of format. And not only that, this is not a forum to bash people. It is about wakeboarding so try to keep to it. Besides, if you were to type like this on a memo to your employer, you would be the one to get the boot. Now I know I'm not the greatest at always typing the way I should, but at least I'm trying.

princess, when you're on a message board, grammar and spelling do count for something because reading and writing is THE way you communicate on here. When you're talking to people in person, it's not a big deal because speaking doesn't involve spelling or appropriate paragraph breaks, punctuation, etc. So when you can't spell at a decent level (you know, everyone will make a mistake now and then) and you're trying to converse on a message board, you'll have a rough time communicating with people. For instance, I have NO idea what your topic sentence meant.

Seriously, if you try, maybe you'll improve your writing skills which will carry over into your school work. Then we all win!!!

Brandon Lee, punkyboarder is from hyco lake. princess is apparently from disco bay, cali. her dad posts here as "wakedad1" i believe and she has a brother who also posts here but i cant remember his name. how do i know this you ask? ahhh well princess and her brother were arguing on the message boards a short while ago...
