'00 prostar 205V, has 250 hours, ballasts, sub under the driver seat, perfectpass, and ive ordered tower speakers.
the engine has 2 large empty spaces beside it, im saving up to put 2 350fat sacks on each side of it. the ballasts sits in the middle
it has the same hull, and body as the 00 x-star, just different graphics and a different tower. personally i think the tower looks better if youve seen 2000 x-star towers.

Man you are going to mess up some water on Ouchita with that rig. Throw some weight in her and she will pack a wake.

Sexy boat man Grats and have fun
Do dry suits work that well i mean would they keep you warm at all? or do they use your body heat to insulate like a wet suit does?

dry suits keep you dry, except for your hands, toes and head. but ya its still VERY cold, you can feel the cold water outside the suit and its real weird. They are also kinda restricting too, i didnt feel comfortable spinning or anything like that even tho i did kinda have a decent run. not worth it unless you are THAT diehard.
ive got 4 months to use it, i start boarding usually in mid-late march.

dry suits should keep u warm... (not hands, head and feet) but I guess you would need to have clothes under it. I guess you should wear the same amount of clothes you would that day in the air without drysuit under the suit...

you did good. i've had some of my best days riding behind a boat just like that. a lot of extra weight, but just like that.

Sweet ride! Looks really clean and I'm a big fan of red. Oh, and I think your tower is the same as a 2000 X-Star.

Yeah, the tower is the same as the other 2000 Xstars...I had one, and it was identical. The 01+ are different.

dry suits work great, but just make sure not to wear too much underneath, as you will cook once you are out of the water.

nice boat man. It is super clean. Have fun on Ouachita this summer. During the winter you oughta put some wet sounds speakers up on that tower.
Do you come to Lake Catherine any?

Put 500# each side in rear, 500# in locker and 4-500# in walkway and you have one bad wake making machine! Great choice!

Very nice boat, very similar to my '99 MBSportV. I tinkered with my ballast for a few yrs before getting it right (I dont go out that much though, I also have 250hrs on my boat). My big compartments beside the engine extend forward at the bottom under the rear seats, I doubt yours do. I use huge sac on each side that I extend under my seats, probably get around 600 lbs in each. If I put that much weight all the way back in those compartments I could never add enough hidden weight to the front to get balanced. With factory ballast and lead/sand everywhere you have space, I still dont think you'll be able to compensate for 700 in each rear compartment unless you add a 400-500 lb sac on the floor in the bow. That much weight doesnt seem to help me much either. Have fun working with it though!
